THE JOURNEY
My journey in architecture started with a humble beginning. Earning a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture in 1972 was a pivotal moment that ignited my aspirations and laid the foundation for what would go on to become a prolific career. Inspired to turn my dreams into reality, I partnered with my colleague, Alankar Bhushan, to establish a small architectural practice. Together, we named our firm ABM Architects, a reflection of our shared vision and partnership.
ABM was officially founded in August 1972, a moment that now feels like a lifetime ago. At the time, our first employee was paid a modest salary of Rs. 75 per month—an enduring reminder of how small and determined our beginnings truly were.
