Studio Design Atelier was set up by Ar. Neha Mody – a graduate of the M. S. University of Baroda. In 1999, Neha with her husband Prashant, a structural engineer, founded the practice, and has since handled projects diverse in scale and typology – ranging from small family homes to large institutions, industrial developments, retail and workspaces. Till now, the studio has successfully executed over 20 million sq ft of built space! In this issue celebrating women, we feature Studio Design Atelier’s latest institutional project in Ahmedabad.

Founder of the Chandigarh-based CAPT Consultants, Ar. Purnima Sharma hails from a family of doctors and is married into a family of illustrious architects. The dynamic lady set up her independent practice in 1998 and has since handled several projects from the residential, hospitality and healthcare sectors. At the forefront of Indian design and architecture today, Abin Design Studio was set up in 2005 by Ar. Abin Chaudhuri. The Kolkata-based practice has since earned numerous accolades across various typologies. ADS believes that architecture is an artistic expression so far as it transcends its purely its utilitarian, technical, and rational realm.
