Conversation with Adam Markowitz
Adam Markowitz, a Melbourne-based architect and furniture designer, established markowitzdesign – an interdisciplinary design studio in 2014. INDIAN INSIGHT
Art In Furniture
The cusp of art and design in the studio of A Cube Inc, Ahmedabad
Anuj and Anand Ambalal, sons of renowned artist Amit Ambalal established a design studio A Cube Inc. in 2004. The Ahmedabad-based studio crafts bespoke wooden furniture - experimenting at the cusp of art and design. At A Cube Inc., asking questions is considered integral to the design process, and helps not only in arriving at successful design solutions, but also in keeping the process fun.
Though the brothers spend a lot of time on the ideation phase, they passionately believe that the best design decisions come from creative intuition.
